 Interesting plunger handle that we saw at a recent doctor's office visit while using the restroom.

 Oh, my babies. Athena's third litter, she birthed 9 and is raising 9 - successful litter!

 Many "nucs" at our local Bee Master's shop.   This is the day I picked up our 4th hive.

 The big girls love to peck at the sunflower leaves each evening when we bring them snacks from the garden.

 Lucy insist on laying her egg in the barn, in odd places every day... so we let  her (lol).

 Its  me! It is the rare occasion that I like photo's of myself.

 The hedge around our pool area is in full bloom and to me, smells heavenly!

Lunch with my dear husband, the company and food were both excellent! Have a great weekend!

*solace on the surf

Today was a day for solace, and I found my solace amidst loud shrieking children who were all having a great time running in and out of the waves.  The laughter of small children is something I haven't been around in a while, it was wonderful!  The beach was PACKED.

Many young students had driven to the beach for spring break as well.  It was obvious that I was either not at the family friendly beach or they were not at the Belle Glades (the partying beach in Fernandina Beach where I grew up).

The sounds (words) coming out of their mouths didn't bring the same delight as the innocent little children.  I wasn't offended, as I am not offended by curse words. I didn't really like what I heard, didn't want to be a party to it, but I wasn't offended by it. I know that their actions were sinful, so are some of my actions -some I am aware of, some I am not.  I bet it is the same way with them, some things they recognize as "wrong" or sinful, and somethings they don't yet recognize.  I pray that someone in their life is able to LIVE OUT Jesus to them in a real tangible way.

Para sailing seems to be really popular here on the Emerald Coast.  I think I would like to do this one day, but my DH said, "Have fun!"  I guess I wont be para sailing, because I would only want to do this with him.  I am not sure I want to pay the price they are asking anyway.

Crab Island was not terribly busy today, but just you wait! In a month or so from now this area will be crawling with people, boats, jet ski's, floating amusement toys etc.

*simple beauty

Today while driving along the Santa Rosa Sound, I drove in and out of a dense fog. The fog along the sound was absolutely beautiful! I couldn't help myself, I had to pull over in Navarre and take a few pictures! The next time I am along this area I am going to take pictures from the same areas so you can see just how intense the fog was! I don't think I have ever experienced fog so thick at 2pm in the afternoon! Enjoy!

Oh, it is supposed to be 85 degrees EVERY day this week. Eat your heart out!

Henry and Tiffany (his sweet girlfriend), asked me to take some pictures of them sometime this weekend. The photo with Henry climbing the tree is very much a picture of who my son is.  We had a great time laughing, and capturing some great images!

These girls were just telling each other how grateful they are that they live at Erilyn Farm.

*picasa UpDaTe!

This photo is SOOC and I have used it to show some of the different edits you can NOW do through Picasa.  Picasa, a google product is a free photo editing program that you can download safely from picasa.com .  If you already have Picasa, go get the updates!  I have been using Picasa for years and recently started using Picnik (premium).  I do like Picnik but sometimes it takes them forever to gather the picnic basket, the blanket etc...  With Picasa being a downloaded product and not a web based editor, things move along much faster.

 I think this is one of my favorite edits (Vignette) to use... before the update I was not able to do this using Picasa, but had to wait for Picnik to load. LOVE IT!

 This 60's look is not my fav at all, but a fav of many bloggers I follow.  Quick and easy edit now via Picasa.

While living in NC we did get about one or two days of snow each year. This was the last big snow storm (cause it is always a storm when you get snow in Fayetteville NC), that we were to take part in.  We had the perfect property for snow, too bad it only snowed once or twice a year.  This storm took place in February of 2009.

This is one of our favorite spots on the American soil.  This place holds so much history for my dear husbands family for many generations back. It is my desire to one day take our (future) grandchildren here, to tell the stories of their fathers jumping, climbing and hiding in the beautiful rocks at Devil's Den, Gettysburg PA. To tell them of the  days when their grand father led me up Little Round Top at 6 months pregnant. To have told to them the days of when their great grandfather covered the grounds of the Gettysburg Battlefield and to have shown to them the places where their great grandfather and great great grandfather once lived.  Have a great week!
