*beach scenes at the end of summer

To me, the beach, early morning is one of the most peaceful places on the planet.  It's just you, the birds, other early morning people, and the rolling in and out of the tide.  That is unless it is late August through late October  on Navarre Beach, then you will be accompanied by stinging flies. I found this out after the fact! I will be going to Destin from here on out until winter sets in!  I hope you enjoy these scenes from the shore.  It was a beautiful time no matter!

  3. IKR Jenny! I came home and looked it up because they were everywhere.. ugh! Sure enough, don't go to Pensacola or Navarre Beach during those time. Its all good.. I will head in the opposite direction next time, to Destin.

Diana - Thanks so much! I enjoy capturing God's beauty. It is never as beautiful in pics as you well know, as it is in person! I hope your coming along nicely in your recovery!

  6. These are so beautiful. Florida? Boy, the beaches in the northern part of the state are so much prettier than Daytona and Cocoa, the beaches we frequented when we lived in Orlando. Makes me want to go back for a visit. I'm glad you braved the flies for us. Thanks so much for sharing these on "Behind the Camera" this week.

  7. Tammy, yes, we are in Florida, the Gulf Coast. The beaches here are absolutely beautiful. We lived near Fernandina Beach when I was growing up.. east coast Florida beach.. but the beaches on the Gulf are so much prettier (to me).

TexWisGirl - thanks for stopping by!
